Position Summary and Responsibilities:
- To drive the market development in accordance with the profit & growth objectives of the Global Strategy.
- To drive new market development and new product introduction.
- To ensure that New Products are delivered as per agreed deadlines so that region's marketing objectives can be met.
- To assure that marketing demands are being addressed within the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop regional marketing and promotion policies and tools.
- Define product range and develop competitive sourcing of these products.
- Implement and deliver the regional forecasting structure and review the long term demand requirements.
- Implement and develop the APAC CRM system.
- Implement and the EU e-commerce tools.
- Project manage the introduction of region-wide new products.
- Address and project manage high level product and service issues.
- Implement a APAC marketig and segment structure in line with the global initiatives.
Qualifications Include:
- Good understanding of the welding industry, its dynamics and players.
- Deep experience in marketing
- Financial skills, knowledge of tools to support business development, (ability to create) wide network with ESAB and establish respect in interface with Region and country managers.
- Good command of English written and spoken. Additional command of Asian languages is an advantage.
