Position Summary and Responsibilities:
  • To drive the market development in accordance with the profit & growth objectives of the Global Strategy.
  • To drive new market development and new product introduction.
  • To ensure that New Products are delivered as per agreed deadlines so that region's marketing objectives can be met.
  • To assure that marketing demands are being addressed within the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop regional marketing and promotion policies and tools.
  • Define product range and develop competitive sourcing of these products.
  • Implement and deliver the regional forecasting structure and review the long term demand requirements.
  • Implement and develop the APAC CRM system.
  • Implement and the EU e-commerce tools.
  • Project manage the introduction of region-wide new products.
  • Address and project manage high level product and service issues.
  • Implement a APAC marketig and segment structure in line with the global initiatives.
 

Qualifications Include:

  • Good understanding of the welding industry, its dynamics and players.
  • Deep experience in marketing
  • Financial skills, knowledge of tools to support business development, (ability to create) wide network with ESAB and establish respect in interface with Region and country managers.
  • Good command of English written and spoken. Additional command of Asian languages is an advantage.
